♥ GoodBye KUPRA!....Hello Ebody Reborn!♥

 This is a blog post that I've never thought I would do in a million years, but here we are.

Not too long ago, a new body was launched into second life called eBody Reborn. I have been a hardcore INITHIUM kupra user since it came out back in October 2020. I have seen a lot of bodies being introduced into second life ever since then, and every new body kinda had the inspiration from INITHIUM kupra. Mainly people complained about the waist being so “hourglass” that it basically looked like you had a built-in corset, and there was nothing you could do to kind of “pop out” the waist to make it look more normal. Hence, there was really not a lot of competition.

However, I found a way to make it look more normal than leaving it the way it was.

When it comes to the INITHIUM kupra body, do not use the torso slider because that's when you get the whole “built in a corset” kind of look, so that's what I did was thrilled with it, to be honest.

but then eBody Reborn came to second life, and at first, I didn't like it at all, but I kept a demo of the body in my inventory for about… well, ever since it came out, which was…. October 2021.

I kept going back to it, trying to “play around with it” to see if I could make a shape that I actually liked with the body. The more I played, the more I leaned towards buying the body.

So a few days ago, I decided to take a leap of faith and by the body. It took me about one hour to figure out how the body worked and make a shape I absolutely love.

One hour is a record-breaking time for me because every time I have bought a new body, it has taken me about 10 hours to make a shape that I actually love. No, I'm not kidding you, by the way.

I have used the body for a few days now, and I have nothing bad to say about it, although there is one tiny detail that I would like to change, and that's how the nipples look. They are too small in my opinion. I think you will see what I mean once I show you a photo.

When it came to the INITHIUM kupra body, many creators in second life were really slow when it came around to making clothing for it at first. Then the body exploded onto the second life market.

 when eBody Reborn first launched, it seemed everybody in second life was making clothing for it from the start,

Which I thought was kind of odd until I started thinking, way back in the day in second life, there was this body called slink, but as time moved on and second life evolved, the slink body kind of died out, but I am suspecting that the clothing that was meant for the slink body fits the eBody Reborn body.

But I also feel that the slink body brand has come back but with a different name. Now, don't quote me on that. These are just my theories on why everybody picked up making clothing for the ebody Reborn so fast.

The waist on the eBody reborn is so beautiful and natural-looking. I just love it!

What really is a game-changer for me is that you can use this body for pregnancy. When you use the belly slider, the belly actually looks pregnant instead of getting this weird alienated shape, so you can still wear clothing like normal. Still, you look pregnant. Way back in the day, when everybody was using a second life system body, you could use the belly slider to be pregnant; when the mesh bodies came to second life, that feature was kind of lost because, as I said, if you moved the belly slider up too much the belly, you would look so weird that being pregnant what's not enjoyable anymore at least not for me. But I am super happy to see that eBody reborn has made it so that the belly does not look weird when using the belly slider. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate that.

I have always seen myself as a plus-size second drive because I am plus size in real life, so it doesn't make sense for me to be thin in second life, and let me tell you, this body plus-sized is amazing! Out of this world is amazing!!

I haven't felt this good about myself in second life since my Bellzza Fraya days and believe me, that was a very long time ago!

Looking at my nude picture now, I don't think the nipple part is my problem. I think it's the areolas that are too small for my liking. I prefer them to be big and realistic. So I'm hoping that someone will create a nipple to my liking with all of the creations for this body.

Most mesh bodies are ridiculously high priced, upwards of 5000-6000. Even the eBody reborn Comes in at the amazing price of 3500 lindens; I repeat 3500 lindens!

Lindens is the currency used within second life.

When I saw this price, I couldn't believe my eyes because everything in second life had become so expensive, especially when the pandemic started.

I could repurchase 5000 lindens in the day, lasting for about two to three weeks. Nowadays I can buy 5000 lindens, and they will only last me for about 5 days!

No, I don't believe that it's because I want the high-end stuff. After all, most of the stuff in my inventory is from the weekend sales in second life. I rarely buy anything at full price.

But I have seen a trend with the weekend sales because there are more and more out there, and the more they are, the more expensive the sales actually become.

I hope I don't have to do a body switch anytime soon. Now bakers getting all of these bodies, and clothing for the bodies also gets expensive, so I am hoping and praying that this will be the last time I ever have to do a body switch again in second life, but again you never know.

Going from the kupra body to the eBody Reborn was hard for me to do at first because every time I get a new body, it's hard to see myself in another body, if you know what I mean. Still, now that I've decided to go from the previous body to this body and see how amazing it is, I don't regret it one bit. This body is the ultimate body. Trust me when I say.

Why?

Price point.

Easy to use.

A realistic-looking body.

Natural curves.

Easy to use hud.  

The body naturally reacts to the shape sliders.

 I am seriously considering deleting my whole Kupra body folder with over 6000 Items in it because I don't see myself going back to that body, but then again, if kupra were to die out, I wouldn't be able to get the clothing then I have accumulated for that body again so I'm still kind of on the fence about it, to be honest, but I most likely will delete the folder after a while

What I really wish second life could be built-in to the viewers is being able to” retire folders” or hide them that way, you could save space without having to.

So it is with a semi-happy heart I leave the kupra body behind. I really enjoyed that body so much, but that body had something missing, and I just couldn't figure out why until I bought the eBody reborn.

This will be the Last Post with the Kupra body at the forefront, as you probably already understand. From now on, my blog will exclusively be with eBody Reborn.
